Overlord Season 4

Overlord has become one of anime's top isekai series, and fans always want more of the franchise. Recently, fans saw Overlord hit up the small screen thanks to an ambition crossover, but it seems the anime cannot be kept down for long. A new report has gone live about the anime, and it says a fourth season has been given the green light.

The report came from KSM Anime after the anime licensor took to Twitter. The German company was attending a local anime convention which hosted two creators on Overlord. It was there the publisher told fans a fourth season is on its way.

Fans all over the world have been waiting for the announcement of “Overlord” season 4. Though there has not been any official confirmation from Madhouse and other affiliates, wait of over one year might be over with the reports claiming the release of the show in 2020.

As for who made the reveal, Kugane Maruyama and so-bin are said to have backed the statement. They are the writer and illustrator of the original Overlord light novels, and they were joined by Yukie Sugawara who does the anime's script.

This announcement has gotten fans excited, but they are waiting to hear an official announcement from Madhouse on the topic. The studio has overseen the anime series since day one with Naoyuki Itou overseeing the show as director. The show's third season went live last July to rave reviews, but word has been quiet on the season four front since Overlord bowed out last year.

Overlord is a Japanese animated adventure fantasy series streaming in Netflix. The show is adapted from the novel of Kugane Maruyama light novel series of the same name.

Overlord: Plot

Overload is a fantastic anime series in Japanese. The story is about a young man. An online video game gets permanently shut down trapping a young boy into it.

He gets trapped into a video where he’s a warrior king. The series will show us the young man embarking into a journey to make this world his empire.

Season 4: Release Date

Season three of Overlord finished in October 2018. Since then there is no news about the series getting renewed nor a release date for another run. But fans aren’t losing hopes. There are still chances of another season for Overlord.

There are equal chances for it to happen and not happen. The creators have said that there could be another season, but not confirmed. So let’s not shut down all possibilities. But if season four were to happen who all will be there and what will happen?

Season three of Overlord has already completed the ninth volume in the book series. Hence we can expect the story to start from the tenth or eleventh volume.

The story revolves around Ainz, hoping to take over the world. We can introspect that season four will begin with Ainz exploring his new duties as a pioneer of the Sorceress kingdom. The responsibilities that he has to uphold will not be as easy as he thinks.

Ainz is the restless hero always ready for war. The story of Overlord is what that keeps the audience alive and hooked into it. Overlord truly stands out when it comes to its plot and cult story. It makes us even cry for the villain.

Since there are no trailers released by the anime company, it is hard to predict what exactly is going to happen in season four of Overlord.
